Guadalupe Credit Union is looking for three families to participate in the 2010 Savings Challenge. Participants will learn how to reduce debt, build credit and increase savings as they work toward a statewide grand prize of $10,000!

Participants will meet monthly with a personal financial coach from the credit union who will help them make a strategy, adjust their plans along the way and monitor their progress. An outside CPA firm will tally the final numbers, looking for reduction in debt and an increase in savings and credit scores to determine the winners. The winning GCU family will receive at least $2,500 and will go head-to-head with the other New Mexico finalists for the $10,000 grand prize!

There is no charge to participate. However, you must be willing to share your story and what you learn with the community and the state.
